Mrs.Mansouri attends celebrations marking 50th anniversary of Mozambique's independence

Tasked by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the secretary of State to the minister of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs, Bakhta Selma Mansouri, participated in the official festivities celebrating the 50th   anniversary of independence of the Republic of Mozambique.

The Secretary of State was received by President Daniel Francisco Chapo of Mozambique, at the headquarters of the presidency of the Republic, conveyed to him the greetings of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his best wishes for progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Mozambique.

The depth of the historical relationship between the two countries and the ways to further promote it, in the best common interests of the two friendly peoples, was underlined at the meeting.

The Secretary of State held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Veronica Macamo, at the headquarters of the Ministry, on the prospects for partnership between the two countries and the extension of cooperation to sectors of common interest.
