the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of 1 November 1954

The Embassy of Algeria in Sofia commemorated the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the Glorious Revolution of 1 November 1954, which is being marked this year under the theme: “November: The Memory of a Nation and the Future of a People.”

The commemorative ceremony opened with the national anthem and the raising of the national flag, followed by the recitation of Al-Fatiha and a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of our valiant martyrs, in solemn remembrance of their sacrifice and in recognition of all they gave for their homeland.

On this occasion, H.E. The Ambassador has delivered an address highlighting the historical significance and symbolic importance of the Glorious Revolution of 1 November, as a defining milestone in the history of the Algerian nation and a lasting symbol of the values of freedom, sacrifice and national unity. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of preserving the historical memory and passing on the principles and values of the Liberation Revolution to successive generations, thereby remaining faithful to the legacy of the martyrs and continuing the path of national development and progress.
