Martyrs’ Day

On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, observed on 18 February each year, the Embassy of Algeria in Sofia commemorated this morning, under the supervision of H.E. Ambassador Asma Babouche, the memory of the heroes who sacrificed their pure souls so that Algeria may enjoy freedom and independence.

The ceremony commenced with the raising of the national colors and the recitation of Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of our righteous martyrs, followed by a minute of silence in solemn recognition of their eternal sacrifices.
